Information about cookies

The website uses cookies: Cookies are computer data, especially text files, which are stored on the User’s end device and are intended for use with the website’s web pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, their storage time on the end device, and a unique number.

The entity placing cookies on the Website User’s end device and obtaining access to them is the website operator. Cookies are used for the following purposes: creating statistics that help understand how Website Users use web pages, which allows improving their structure and content; maintaining the Website User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on every subpage of the Website; defining a user profile to display tailored materials in advertising networks, in particular the Google network.

The Website uses two basic types of cookies: “session” (session cookies) and “persistent” (persistent cookies). “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

Web browsing software (web browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the User’s device by default. Website users can change the settings in this regard. The web browser allows you to delete cookies. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this can be found in the help or documentation of the web browser. Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Website’s web pages.

Cookies placed on the Website User’s end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Website operator. We recommend reading these companies’ privacy policies to understand the rules for using cookies used in statistics: Google Analytics Privacy Policy Cookies can be used by advertising networks, especially Google, to display ads tailored to the way the user uses the Service. For this purpose, they can retain information about the user’s navigation path or the time spent on a given page.

Regarding information about user preferences gathered by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information derived from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

External Parameter Technologies and Tools

On the Website pages, we use the following tools owned by third parties, aimed at analytics, displaying behavioral advertisements, remarketing, and measuring the results of advertising campaigns.

Based on the User’s behavior on the Websites and their pages (e.g., based on clicks, views, visit duration), their interests (Internet search history), which may be recorded in Cookies or based on other technologies that we use on the Websites, anonymous or pseudonymized user profiles are created for the purposes of displaying behavioral advertising. Pseudonymization means that data or identifying features are replaced by artificial identifiers (pseudonyms). Based on these, the User may be presented with advertising information tailored to the history of behavior on the Websites or the User’s preferences in the form of advertising displayed on the User’s device (behavioral advertising). Data on search history remain anonymous.

We care about the best matching of displayed ads to the User’s interests, therefore, within the scope of behavioral advertising, the User may mainly see information about products or services that he has viewed in the past on the Websites. For the purposes mentioned in this point, we use the following tools:

Google Analytics

This tool collects anonymous information about the User’s visit to the Website. These include, among others: displayed subpages, visit duration, pages between which the User moved on the Website. The purpose of this is to collect anonymous statistics about the functioning of the Website and to analyze activity on the Website, enabling the displayed offer to be tailored to the User’s needs.

Google Ads

This tool allows us to present the offer within the results displayed in the Google search engine and on pages that are part of the Google advertising network. As part of this service, we also analyze the effectiveness of our ads presented on Google pages, which allows for a better adjustment of the offer to the User’s expectations. After clicking on an ad presented by Google on the User’s device, only statistical information is obtained by saving Cookies, serving to identify this ad.

Facebook, LinkedIn

We use tools for advertising and remarketing purposes that use Cookies from Facebook and LinkedIn. These providers install an appropriate snippet of code or pixel to collect information about the User’s behavior on the Website. Based on this, our ads are presented to the User, who has visited our Websites, on other websites belonging to the external providers’ advertising network.

Social Media

There may also be external links on the Websites (e.g., to a Facebook fan page or a YouTube channel), when using which the User leaves our Website. We do not control the extent to which external providers collect data, and we do not have information on how they are processed. The User can find information on this in the data protection information of the indicated provider.
